Lovers of all things green and growing will enjoy the free 24th annual Independence Lawn and Garden Show on Saturday, April 26, on the historic Independence, Missouri Square (112 W. Lexington). Located on the eastern edge of Kansas City, Independence sits at the intersection of major north-south and east-west interstates and is a thirty minute drive from the Kansas City airport. Vendors will offer bedding plants, baskets, flowers, ornamental gardeniron and poured garden ornaments from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Free.
