Maine's biggest and best annual fundraising sale - a midcoast tradition for almost sixty years, attended by thousands of shoppers,both locals and visitors from far and wide.
Our next sale will be held at the Chapman Field,Waldoboro Rd.,Damariscotta,Maine on August 13,14 and 15 2009 Thurs & Fri 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM.Sat 8:00 AM - 12:00 Noon We are a long-established and wildly popular fundraising event held each August in Damariscotta,in the Mid-Coast region of coastal Maine. Our sale,which benefits projects of the Miles Memorial Hospital League,is held under several big-top circus tents and goes on rain or shine during the third week of August. The sale will continue to be held at the Chapman Farm property on Waldoboro Rd.,Damariscotta,at the juncture of Route 1 and Business Route 1,just a few miles beyond town.Admission is free and there is plenty of free parking in the adjacent fields.The field is handicapped accessible.Sorry,no dogs - and whatever you do,don't leave your dog in the car. The line of eager shoppers forms early on Thursday morning and the sale remains busy through Saturday at noon.On Saturday we have a bag sale in the general merchandise departments and big discounts in the Collectibles and Treasures,Furniture and Better Books departments so shopping remains intense from beginning to end of the sale.
